I've heard a lot of good things, but currently nothing is possible without a reservation. Unfortunately I didn't have one, but I was allowed to look around, which I found very nice.

Just drank one beer. Nice atmosphere, you feel at least 100 years back.

Really tasty. Mega portions. Super friendly and thoughtful service. It's not super comfortable to eat on the school desk, but it is funny. The other rooms are more comfortable

Hotel is an experience. Sleep in an antiquitarian room with modern sanitary facilities. Friendly service and very good breakfast.

We ate here spontaneously on a Saturday evening, luckily one table was still available. The evening was wonderful, the atmosphere in the old house, the good food and delicious beer - all in all a trip worthwhile. Keep it up!

The restaurant is located in a former school building. You feel transported to another time. The food was excellent and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful.

We had dinner outside yesterday. Very nice, attentive waiter and delicious food. Schnitzel was excellent.

The two strongest points were the friendliness and hospitality of the staff and the beautiful interior. It's like being in a museum. We sat downstairs in a room full of antique school furniture and attributes for school children from the past. Very attractive. We only drank some. The local beer, tasted a light and a dark. Both very tasty. There is also an upper floor (decorated like a house from more than a hundred years ago, very cool) and a terrace. If you eat vegan, you can choose from two dishes, both with grilled vegetables.

The dining room is simply beautiful. An old teaching facility is used as a restaurant. Top ambience, delicious cow tail beer and very nice staff. You feel comfortable there. A little tip: take a look in the sleeping rooms;)

Oh how funny. Great gastronomic experience in a former school. Due to Corona the "classrooms" were not fully occupied 😷, which was very helpful. Good, delicious food, along with browsing old school books and refreshing memories. Thanks a lot for this.

If you want to dive back in time, this is the place for you. In an old teacher's house you can spend a wonderful time with the best cuisine. The food is delicious and the schnapps have it all. You have to try the city fire! The staff is super friendly and refreshing! I will definitely come again!

Eating in a museum! The old schoolhouse offers a unique atmosphere. It is old and not old. The food is modern with tradition. We can recommend the Hansesack and cherries with Klump

So nice and charming!

Old style German food. Decent enough, but a somewhat too greasy. Altough we made a reservation in the afternoon, we were given a table in their "clasroom" because it was really busy. That in itself is not really a problem, but it was not really comfortable as you are sitting next to each other instead of facing one another.

The whole place is still furnished like a 1920 small school and flat. It's like dining in a museum but with a very cosy atmosphere. The menu is designed like a little history book which gives information about Tangermünde. You will get traditional local food for a good price.
